Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to satate :-

(a) whether it is a fact that Pakistan has recently once again raised the Kashmir issue at various international fora including United Nations (UNs);

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) in what manner Government countered Pakistan at each of these fora?

(SHRI E. AHAMED

(a) to (c) Pakistan has raised the issue of Jammu and Kashmir repeatedly at international fora, including the United Nations. Government’s consistent and principled position is that the entire State of Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of the Indian Union, and this has been stated in the international fora. Government continues to take all necessary steps to protect India’s territorial integrity.
