Mr. Abhishek Yadav is a Research Analyst at the West Asia Centre of the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA), New Delhi. He is pursuing PhD from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He has completed his M.Phil. in South Asian Studies and Masters in Politics (International Relations) from JNU. His areas of interest include global governance, international migration, and Turkiye’s domestic politics and foreign policy.

Before joining MP-IDSA, he served as a Consultant in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India. Previously, he was a Research Associate at the erstwhile India Centre for Migration (ICM), a think tank of the MEA, Government of India, in 2022. He has been a Visiting Fellow in International Relations at Sichuan University, China, from September 2017 to January 2018.
