Qualifications

Essential

  • Graduate from a UGC recognised university with minimum 55% marks.

  • Minimum five years’ of experience as stenographer/ Personal Secretary in a reputed firm or govt. office.

  • Diploma/ certificate course from a reputed institute on subjects of stenography, shorthand, and related subjects.

  • Good working knowledge of computer, especially MS word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of Hindi / Devanagari Typing (preferable).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Job Description*

Taking dictation of letters, notes, circulars etc. and transcribing.

Fixing up official engagements, tours (national/international),

EPABX handling,

Ensuring safe custody / disposal of the documents provided by the officer

Maintaining files/ records.

  • Candidates presently serving with the Government Sector and shortlisted for the interview must provide a ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ from the present employer before/at the time of interview.

  • PwBD Candidates (with benchmark disability not less than 40%) should produce Disability Certificate in the prescribed format from the competent authority as specified in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

General Information

  • Shortlisted Candidates will be called for a written / skill test of stenography (at a speed of 80 w.p.m. in English shorthand and for the transcription of the same on computer at the rate of 40 w.p.m) and interview at Delhi.

  • Shortlisted outstation candidates will be paid AC- III tier rail fare, by the shortest route, only on production of tickets

  • The selected candidates will be expected to join as per the date in the offer letter.

  • The selected candidate shall be subjected to other rules and regulations as applicable to MP-IDSA Scholars and Staff

  • Age and Education qualification will be calculated as on last date of submission of application.

  • IN CASE IT IS DETECTED AT ANY STAGE OF RECRUITMENT THAT AN APPLICANT DOES NOT FULFIL THE ELIGIBILITY NORMS AND/ OR THAT HE/ SHE HAS FURNISHED ANY INCORRECT/ FALSE INFORMATION OR HAS SUPPRESSED ANY MATERIAL FACT(S), HIS/ HER CANDIDATURE WILL STAND CANCELLED. IF ANY OF THESE SHORTCOMINGS IS/ ARE DETECTED EVEN AFTER APPOINTMENT, HIS/ HER SERVICES ARE LIABLE TO BE TERMINATED AND DISQUALIFICATION WILL TAKE PLACE WITH RETROSPECTIVE EFFECT

  • The certificates will be subject to such verification/reverification as may be decided by the competent authorities.
