The Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA) (https://demo.idsa.in) is India’s premier strategic and security studies think tank with a well-qualified, multi-disciplinary research faculty, drawn from academia, the armed forces and the civil services.

Applications are invited for empanelment as copyeditors (on freelance basis), for MP-IDSA’s various publications (https://demo.idsa.in/publications), which include: Books, Journals, Monographs, Occasional Papers, Task Force Reports, and other reports.

A competitive rate per 1,000 words for copyediting will be offered.

The preferred eligibility criteria include: Master’s degree and above in Humanities/Social Sciences, with 6–8 years of directly relevant editorial experience with publishing houses/think tanks of repute. Additionally, familiarity and experience with syntax, various referencing styles (CMS, APA, etc.), fact-checking and familiarity and experience with Defence Studies, International Relations and Strategic Issues.
